Scouts has changed... We now have a new team behind scouts and they now meet on a thursday. For more info look on the scout page.

The purpose of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

As part of the wider Scouting movement the above pretty much sums up what the Group is about.

We are committed to providing a challenging, interesting and above all fun programme of activities for all our young people, including regular camps through out the UK and on the continent. At this we believe we are highly successful.

The Group is blessed with a highly motivated team of leaders and helpers. The Group includes specialists in navigation, pioneering and adventure training skills. The ethos is very much "Lead by Example".
